Tenerife Photo Diary | #LazyBlogging

I went to Tenerife back in June, and despite doing one post shortly after I came back, I realised I haven’t actually posted much more about it. So I’ve complied a little collection of my favourite photos of our holiday, including a couple of more from the boat trip (although for a full detailed post about that, see here), our day at Siam Park, and some miscellaneous hotel and beach pictures. Enjoy!

After getting suitably tipsy in the airport and on the plane, we arrived at our hotel, and found that we weren’t given a room – but an actual suite! Complete with a huge balcony with sun loungers!

The next few snippets are when we went on our amazing boat trip. I’ve done a whole separate post about it right here. It was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever experienced.

The following set of photos were from our day at Siam Park! It’s an amazing water park which was located only 10 minutes away from our hotel, which we didn’t even realise when we booked it – bonus! It’s designed to have a Thailand-ish feel, and there’s all sorts of attractions for all ages. There were mini aquariums, an artificial beach with white sand and a wave machine, and not forgetting loads of amazing water rides, including the Tower of Terror, which was essentially a vertical drop. Needless to say, I didn’t try it out. I’m such a pansy, in fact, that my favourite ride was the Mai Thai Rivers, which is just a ride where you bob along leisurely on a float along a fake river – minimal risk!

And some further miscellaneous photos of our trip!

My lovely travel companion xx

We honestly had an amazing time out there, I wish I could go back and stay for longer. Six days wasn’t really enough to properly explore the island as much as we wanted to, but we did get a whole lot of relaxing done, which was just what the doctor ordered!

What have been some of your favourite holidays? Where is your dream destination?

Wow your photos are fantastic! 😍 My favourite holiday destination though would still have to be Ibiza, simply because the north-east side of the island is so beautiful and quiet! I’ve never been to Tenerife but your photos have convinced me it may be time to book that flight! xx

Thanks! Yes, I’d definitely recommend Tenerife if you ever get the chance! I’ve never been to Ibiza because I’ve always been put off by the party aspect, but maybe I should check out the north of the island xx

Ibiza is lovely if you stay away from the party aspect! We’ve gone for 3 years now as a family and honestly would be back there in a heartbeat! If you ever do go, I would recommend Santa Gertrudis for a day as its to quiet and peaceful with some lovely shops xx

Looks like you had such an amazing time Ella!! The boat trip looks so good!! This has given me serious holiday blues though. My favourite holiday destination so far has been Hawaii but I would absolutely love to go to those water huts in the Maldives…a girl can dream eh!?

You’re totally killing it with #LazyBlogging so far!!
